What is life? Now, I am not the first and (hopefully) I wont be the last person to ask this question. I've pondered it often enough to know an answer. Growing up in Jersey City, NJ, a melting pot of cultures , classes and characters, I've always been immersed in diversity. This made me open-minded. Often, clothing was the first way for you to recognize these differences, and fashion was something I quickly found myself gripped to because of the art i saw in it. Years of growing and seeing trends come and go, I realized that most people didn't share my passion and view of style. Through years in school, and a variety of internships I began to expand my knowledge in Marketing and branding services. I found an interest that nearly rivaled my passion for fashion. I began searching for a way to build a life where I can incorporate both to bring long lasting, quality substance to our complex world. But how? Was it through blogging, social media, or captivating photography? These are all crucial instruments but while pondering this question of life, I discovered that regardless of what you want or do, there must be purpose. A meaningful purpose for not only yourself but everyone around you, to leave this world better than you found it. With Fashionfits we want to share that deeper purpose that is hidden within the clothing we adorn; to benefit and inspire. This is what life is to me.

Nothing is worse than believing you don't have a purpose. Aiming helplessly day in and day out in without a cause. Despite our cultural diversity and ethnic backgrounds, everyone is destined for greatness. All those who are alive have a purpose, and the place to find it is within oneself. I personally had a tough time being confident and outgoing. I started working out and immediately fell in love with fitness. The pain, the commitment, the results, it all became an addiction. I became a sculptor, not of marble, but out flesh and blood. I quickly became a new version of myself. I lost a total of 40 pounds in record time. Then what followed was weight lifting. An entirely different realm. Pain become pleasure. How? The soreness you feel the day after means a job well done. In a nutshell, when you tear the muscle down through repetitions of heavy weightlifting, the muscle tissue in that specific area grows thicker, hence stronger. A whole new life was suddenly bestowed upon me. My confidence sky rocketed and it was time to buy the threads to match. No more XL shirts and 42 inch pants. And that's where I became a the creative director for Fashionfit and head of the "Fit-Ness" department. Clothes aren't just clothes to us, we are embracing the character behind the threads. The self expression in each "Fit."
